The EMP supports changing the field names that are being asked as questions on forms. For example, a field such as 'High School' can be displayed to students as 'Pick your High School'. This is done by using Field Labels.

Field Labels are set when creating or editing any custom field. The Field Name will be what is displayed on backend EMP forms and selections that only staff users will see. The Label Text will be displayed on all student facing pages (including forms and event signups). If left blank, the Field Name is what will be displayed to students.
